Kim Vestö, M. Sc.

Kim Vestö was born in Kokkola, Finland, in 1990. He studied biomedicine at the Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, and infection biology at Uppsala University where he completed his studies with the Master thesis "DEAD-box RNA helicases in Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium stress adaptation". The title of his project is "RNA-modulating enzymes in relation to bacterial virulence and intrinsic antibiotic tolerance". His principal supervisor is Mikael Rhen. Kim Vestö is one of our ambassador students.
