Our translational research group is working on immune regulation focusing on regulatory T cells. We are interested in the understanding of cellular and molecular mechanisms of immunity and tolerance especially in hematological diseases and transplantation medicine. In order to develop novel cell-based therapeutic strategies, we are analyzing immune pathobiology in the clinical setting followed by the validation in murine model systems.
