A survey carried out by the laboratory journal publication analysis for the years from 2012 - 2016 showed that two scientists of the Hannover Unified Biobank (HUB) belong to the 50 most cited scientists in the field of human genetics. Prof. Dr. Thomas Illig, head of HUB, scored the seventh rank and Dr. Norman Klopp, laboratory director of HUB, reached the 48th rank.
