Sponsors

The PhD Program Infection Biology is largely financed through public funds and the private Wilhelm-Hirte Foundation, which provides scholarships. Other scholarships are Georg-Christoph-Lichtenberg scholarships (provided by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower-Saxony) and HBRS scholarships (provided by the German "Excellence Initiative"). Administrative positions are provided by the Ministry of Science and Culture of Lower Saxony. Additional funds are provided by HIRISB, particularly for study-related travel and for soft-skills courses.
