Midwifery Research and Education Unit

German Version

Midwifery is one of the world’s oldest professions. Parturitions are important events in every culture and usually pregnancy and childbirth are natural occurrences happening in women’s life.

In former times as well as nowadays midwives are in charge of normal pregnancy courses, birth and childbed.

Our request is to cultivate, preserve and advance obstetric skills. Taking these tasks seriously, we are interested in providing the best possible care for parents.

On this homepage you are able to find information about different topics and assignments we are working on at the moment.
