MD/PhD Program "Molecular Medicine"

This PhD study course is designed for students with an M.Sc. or equivalent diploma in Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology.

(Next deadline for application: April 1st, 2008)

The interdisciplinary curriculum consists of an individual teaching program combined with a research project leading to a PhD thesis after a normal study period of 3 years. The program is a cooperation between the Hannover Medical School, the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, the University of Hannover, and the Fraunhofer Institute ITEM Hannover.

The program is fully accreditated as the first German PhD program according to European standards (ECTS)
