Genotype:
Pigmentation genes: aa BB CC hh PP RR
Mhc: RT1uv2(RT1.AuB/DuCuv2)
Erythrocyte antigens: RT2 b RT8 b
Lymphocyte antigens: RT6 a RT7 a
Inbr. Gen.: At Ztm (1998), F83.
Origin: Mühlbock, Antoni van Leewenhoekhuis, Amsterdam, from Orl:LE (Long Evans) stock. To Han in 1973 at F37, to Ztm 1994.
Reproduction: Moderate reproductive performance; average number weaned per female per week 0.54 .
Other characteristics: Originally two stocks have been developed with early and late sexual maturity. The LE/Ztm strain has been derived from the latter stock. Other lines of this strain are likely to vary genetically because of the outbred origin (see for example 1, 3). The genetic maker profile described by Bender et al. (2).
